Enhancements & Fixes.

1. “Stretch Image To Fit Screen” option.  For users who do not have the “Zones/ split screen” add-on. Previously the “stretch images to fit screen” option was automatically turned off. Now, you can specify if you want your images to be stretched to fit the entire screen (where possible), or left at their original aspect ratio. This setting is available on the “About Digital Recall Manager” menu option, and is only visible if you do not have the split screen add-on installed.
2.  Local Date Format Settings are used when entering dates in Digital Recall Manager, the local date format, either dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy will be used.
3. Recalculate PowerPoint Duration:  Now, if you externally change the PowerPoint presentation duration, simply edit that advert and re-select that PPT/PPTX file in the Adverts screen, and the duration will be re-calculated. The new, correct duration will be saved with that advert, ensuring you do not get any “end of slideshow reached” messages.
4. Browse for Adverts File Type Filter improved.
5. "Monitor Off" - audio & other issues corrected.
6. Manual Ticker Size Override introduced.
7. Manual Zone-Background Colour Override introduced.
8. Error 384 Fixed. Note that Digital Recall Manager has been designed for a minimum resolution of 1024x768.

• Automated version-upgrade process  (will only work after this version is installed) to allow you to automatically deploy Digital Recall program-updates to all Players. (Can be easily disabled/enabled in the “Update” menu). FREE
• Scheduling: Ability to schedule by day of the week; Schedule loops down to 5-minute intervals (previously the minimum interval was 1 hour); Ability to auto-fill any unscheduled hours for each day. Ability to drag and drop scheduled loops to different days, and adjust loop start time and duration using the mouse. Ability to easily copy an existing schedule to one or more other monitors. • Upload to Locations: Updates to Players are no longer date-dependent. A new methos is now used to indicate a newer database to the Players, eliminating any date/time issues that may have prevented a Player from downloading new schedules.Uploading database/content now displays a progress bar while uploading. • Split screen zones to allow up to 8 loops to be played on each monitor simultaneously, each zone can contain its own ticker tape and multiple scheduled loops. You can set up your own screen zone layouts with up to 8 zones per layout (using drag and drop). Individual zones can be set to stretch images to fit the zone, or leave the image at its original aspect ratio.
• Ability to play live digital TV in a loop (TV tuner card or USB TV tuner required). Only DVB-T Format supported as at 5 July 09. Additional Formats planned soon.
• Ability to play DVD in a loop (select title and chapter).
• Ability to play PowerPoint slideshows, Word documents and Excel spreadsheets in a loop (MS Office required on Player PC).
• Ability to span a zone across 2 or more monitors connected to one player, allowing you to play an advert that spans multiple monitors.

System Status now also reports the Program Version installed for each Player, as well as the database version counter currently in use on each Player PC, to easily identify Players that have not yet been updated with a new program version or have not yet downloaded the latest database. Play Logs - SEE WARNING BELOW

• Play Logs can now also be filtered by day of week.
• Now includes ability to track content played by Zone.
• Reports can now be exported to a .csv file (and therefore used more extensively in a “custom” manner).
• NOTE: - ALL DATA COLLECTED ON YOUR PLAYLOG FUNCTION WILL BE OVER WRITTEN WHEN THE NEW VERSION IS DOWNLOADED. YOU MUST PRINT ALL EXISTING REPORTS FROM EXISTING DATA BEFORE THE NEW VERSION IS DOWNLOADED. (Personal emails have been sent to all existing users of the Playlog add-on advising of this)
